Willard and Secure It "e" Box
I was walking my dog Nutmeg yesterday and was joined by my neighbor from up the street, Willard Hoskins. Willard and I were the same age, graduates of the University of Akron, married for 20+ years with lots of kids. Willard did not have a dog - just groundhogs in his backyard. We always had fun celebrating Groundhog Day like in the movie with Bill Murray. Only trouble is after all these years it seems like we keep celebrating the same year over and over again.
We got to talking about the tornado that demolished so many houses in the allotment last year as we walked by one newly rebuilt. He mentioned how odd it was that some houses were totally leveled while others next door were not touched. Anyway, at the same time, Willard reminded me that we had milestone birthdays coming up.
Willard informed me that while he was walking down his Electronic Primrose Lane earlier in the day he had come across the funniest birthday card he had ever received. "Sure would hate to have lost that in the tornado. I just put these in my safe deposit box on-line." His oldest daughter Kim had given it to him, 15 years ago on his 35th birthday. He started explaining the card when I cut him short, "You have a birthday card from 15 years ago? What is an Electronic Primrose Lane? What is a safe deposit box on-line?"
Willard laughed as he replied, "Sure enough, I will tell you, it is real slick. We have Secure It "e" Box and the entire family has captured meaningful occasions and stored valuable documents on it." Willard asked me if I had a birthday card or Father's Day card from 15 years ago. It was my turn to laugh, but in the back of my mind I was envious. "Tell me more Willard."

Willard was a soft-spoken man with a slow delivery. Our 2-mile walk had extended past the avenue to Pearson's Drug Store some 3 miles from home. A 6-mile walk was almost more than two old geezers and Nutmeg could handle.
On our return trip I got all the details about Secure It "e" Box from Willard. While I was sure my family could not go back in time to capture the priceless moments that Willard's family had, I had a great degree of satisfaction knowing we could sleep tight by moving forward electronically, capturing important family documents, some moments of the past, and all the memorable events still to come with our grandchildren.
I decided to give Secure It "e" Box a try. Willard had sold me on it. After all, His close friend lost everything in that tornado!
Thank you Willard for the walk and talk.
